The salted paper is a very old technique of photographic printing. The paper is soaked in brine, dried and then coated with silver nitrate which combine the salt product of silver chloride is light sensitive. A small exposure to ultraviolet sunlight through a negative plated on paper and we get a positive on paper. This technique was used early in the century in Japan. The prints were then stained. It is simply magnificent.
